Booking and scheduling software built around your business

If customers still book by phone tag, or your booking tool does a tenth of what you need, we build the system around how you actually take appointments: services, classes, deposits, reminders and your calendar, all in one place.

Why most booking tools do not quite fit

Off-the-shelf booking tools are built for the average business, and few businesses are average. A salon books by stylist and service length. A studio sells classes with limited places. A mobile service books by area and travel time. A clinic needs intake before the first visit. A restaurant manages tables and a waitlist rather than appointments.

When the tool does not match the way you work, the gap is filled by people: someone confirms by text, someone moves a booking by hand, someone chases a deposit. Every one of those is time you are paying for and a booking that can go wrong. A system built around your rules removes most of it.

What we build

The pieces below combine to fit your business. You do not need all of them.

Online booking

Customers pick a service, a time and, where it matters, a person or location, and see only the slots that are actually available.

Appointments and classes

One-to-one bookings, group classes with limited places, or both in the same system.

Deposits and payments

Take a deposit or full payment at booking through Stripe, which cuts no-shows and chasing.

Reminders

Automatic email and text reminders before each booking, so fewer people forget and fewer slots go empty.

Calendar sync

Bookings appear in Google or Outlook calendars, and busy time there blocks the same slot online.

Rules that match your business

Cut-off times for rescheduling and cancelling, buffers between jobs, opening hours by day and service limits, set the way you work.

Multiple locations and staff

Separate calendars, hours and services for each location or team member, managed from one place.

Waitlists and walk-ins

For businesses that fill and empty through the day: a waitlist that tells people the moment a place opens, and quick check-in for walk-ins.

How we build it

  1. Map how you take bookings

We walk through a real week: how requests arrive, what you confirm, where mistakes happen and what customers ask before they book.

  2. Write down the rules

Cut-offs, deposits, buffers, hours, staff and locations, agreed in plain language so the system does what you actually want.

  3. Build and connect

The booking flow, payments, reminders and calendar sync, connected to the tools you already use.

  4. Pilot with real bookings

A small group of customers or one location first, so problems show up when they are cheap to fix.

  5. Launch and tune

Go live, then adjust based on what customers actually do, with two weeks of support included.

Use ours, customize ours or build yours

Tempo is our own booking product, so for many businesses the fastest answer is to use it as it is. If your rules are unusual, we can customize it or build a separate system. And if a ready-made tool you already pay for does the job, we will say so and help you set it up properly.

We keep that choice honest because booking software is easy to over-build. The right amount is the least that removes your manual work.

Who this suits

Businesses where bookings are the business.

  • Salons, barbers, spas and beauty businesses
  • Clinics, therapists and wellness practices
  • Studios, gyms and class-based businesses
  • Mobile and home services that book by area and time
  • Restaurants and cafés that manage tables and waitlists
  • Repair shops and walk-in businesses that track jobs

Questions we get asked

How much does custom booking software cost?

Scope and price are agreed in writing before work starts, and new projects start at $3,000 CAD. The cost depends on how many services, locations and rules you need, and a 15-minute call is enough to give you a rough number.

How long does it take to build?

A focused booking system typically fits inside 2 to 6 weeks from kickoff. Larger setups with several locations or custom rules are scoped separately, and we agree the timeline in writing.

Can it take deposits or payments?

Yes. We connect Stripe so customers can pay a deposit or the full amount when they book, which reduces no-shows and the work of chasing payment.

Will it sync with Google or Outlook calendars?

Yes. Bookings appear in your calendar, and busy time in your calendar blocks the same slot online, so you are not double-booked.

Can customers reschedule or cancel themselves?

Yes, within rules you set, such as a cut-off number of hours before the booking. That removes most of the back-and-forth by phone and text.

Should I use Tempo or have something built?

If Tempo fits your business, use it, because it is faster and cheaper. If your rules are unusual, we can customize it or build a separate system. A call is enough for us to tell you which.

Do you only work in Toronto?

Our offices are in Toronto and Woodbridge, and we work with businesses across the GTA, as well as in Raleigh and Brooklyn. Most of the work happens over video, so location rarely matters.

Want to talk about booking and scheduling software?

Tell us what you do and what you want more of. In 15 minutes we will say whether we are the right people and roughly what it would cost. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on the call.
